Terms & conditions

Last updated: 13 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Wootella (the "Service"), operated at https://wootella.com. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Wootella provides software and related services that help users find local business leads, generate website drafts, share previews, and (where applicable) operate online shops and related tools. Contact: info@wootella.com.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, violate these Terms, or create risk for other users or third parties.

3. Plans and payments

  • Free trial, Premium, and bring-your-own (BYO) usage are described on our Pricing page and may change over time.
  • Paid plans and one-time fees are billed as agreed at checkout or via invoice.
  • Online card payments (where enabled) are processed by PayFast or another authorised payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
  • Prices are shown before you confirm payment. Applicable taxes may be added where required.

4. Licence and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your lawful business purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service;
  • Use the Service for spam, illegal outreach, fraud, or misleading business practices;
  • Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
  • Resell platform access without our written permission.

5. Generated websites and content

  • AI-generated drafts and previews are tools to help you create or sell websites. You remain responsible for reviewing, editing, and publishing content before presenting it as final.
  • You confirm you have rights to any business data, images, or branding you provide.
  • Export and hosting of client sites may involve separate domain and hosting arrangements; those third-party terms also apply.

6. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with Google, social platforms, payment providers, hosting providers, and AI vendors. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes by third parties.

7. Intellectual property

Wootella branding, software, and platform materials remain our property. Subject to your plan and any export we provide, you may use generated website files for the business they were created for. You do not acquire ownership of the underlying Wootella platform.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific lead volumes, or that a generated website will convert sales. Results depend on your niche, outreach, and local market.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Wootella is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including lost profits or lost business opportunities). Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
